Job Description
The WHS Co-ordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our safety management system and our injury management processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of WHS injury management, be an outstanding communicator, proactive management, and a commitment to improving workplace safety and employee wellbeing.
This Position is Full time, 5 days/week onsite.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Coordinate the WHS Management system and help the organization manage key people risks in the organization.
Coordinate the WHS Committee arrangements with the CEO
Mitigate injuries as low as reasonably possible.
Act as the primary point of contact for injured employees, providing support and assist mitigation throughout their recovery and return-to-work process.
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidate will Require
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety equivalent experience
Proven experience in WHS
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in injury management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability build strong relationships with employees, heathcare providers and other stakeholders.
Ability to work with a person -centred philosophy.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
